'66 Sprint GT

We recently acquired this 1966 Sprint GT in remarkably sound, original condition in lovely graphite grey.

Outer sills removed, the middle sills just need the lower sections removing and replacing:

Repaired & painted in 2-pack epoxy primer:

Only now can the outer sill go on, and the lower wing repair panels:

A new rear arch is also fitted:

The front valance is removed and a new cross-member fitted:

The new valance is then welded on:

The headlamp support panels are replaced - a very tricky operation, the new panels require a certain amount of fettling & new rims are trial-fitted at the same time:

Other projects include a '65 Giulia Ti 'barn find', and a '68 1300 GT Junior step-nose, which we are planning to convert to a GTA replica powered by a 2-litre twin spark on throttle bodies!

The blasted shell returns to have new inner, middle & outer sills, new floors, front crossmember, rear scuttle and inner rear arches welded in:

Fibreglass panels are trial-fitted:

Bodyshell painted in 2-pack epoxy primer:

New floorpans & sills seam-sealed.

The shell is finally in 2-pack primer. This will be allowed to harden for several weeks before blocking back. The process is then repeated before the final colour coat is applied.
