'66 Sprint GTWe recently acquired this 1966 Sprint GT in remarkably sound, original condition in lovely graphite grey.Follow the progress of its restoration here. ![]() The headlamp support panels are replaced - a very tricky operation, the new panels require a certain amount of fettling & new rims are trial-fitted at the same time: Other projects include a '65 Giulia Ti 'barn find', and a '68 1300 GT Junior step-nose, which we are planning to convert to a GTA replica powered by a 2-litre twin spark on throttle bodies! The '68 GT Junior, all outer panels removed, ready to go to Cleaning Consultants at Loxwood to be blasted: The blasted shell returns to have new inner, middle & outer sills, new floors, front crossmember, rear scuttle and inner rear arches welded in: The shell is finally in 2-pack primer. This will be allowed to harden for several weeks before blocking back. The process is then repeated before the final colour coat is applied. Next project!A rare, 1-owner Duetto which has never been restored before, stripped and ready to be fitted to a frame before going to be media-blasted at Loxwood: |
